8. Achievements by Ukraine - Ukrainian doctors were able to overcome the biggest challenge in transplantation - rejection of foreign tissue. Radchenko-Kukharchuk-Sirman shown that administration of a certain dose of embryonic stem cells leads to the fact that the current system of immune defense is rebuilt, and therefore is not observed the process of rejection.

Professor Oleksandr Kukharchuk in Ukraine guided clinical trials for evaluation of fetal progenitor cells transplantation efficacy in diabetes mellitus, chronic lower limb ischemia, myocardiodystrophy, liver cirrhosis, male infertility, aging, pancreonecrosis, glomerulonephritis, rhemutoid arthritis, lupuserythematosus. He is author of the book “Stemcells: Experiment, Theory, Clinic. Embryonic, mesenchymal, neural, hematopoeticstemcells”.
Professor Oleksandr Kukharchuk has vast experience of practical work with fetal stem cells. RESEARCH:
1) Past Research in Ukraine
Past Research: Dr. Oleksandr L. Kukharchuk was able to overcome the biggest challenge in transplantation - rejection of foreign tissue. Radchenko-Kukharchuk-Sirman shown that administration of a certain dose of embryonic stem cells leads to the fact that the current system of immune defense is rebuilt, and therefore is not observed the process of rejection.
Dr. Oleksandr L. Kukharchuk was guide for fundamental and applied scientific research of Health Ministry Ukraine: “Study the growth factors interrelating central and peripheral regulatory mechanism of immunological reactivity and hemocoagulatory potential in the normal, endo- and exogenous intoxication”, “Determine the criteria of efficacy and safety of transplanting organs, tissues, cells and develop its standards”, “In experiments and clinicals, to determine effectiveness of transplantation of stem cells, tissues of embryo and exofetal material and tissue therapy by Filatov in immune and oncopathological process, pancreo- and colonogenic peritonitis, aging and dysfunction of reproductive system”. Practical application: conducting clinical trials and implementation in medicine this new methods for treatment of pancreonecrosis, infertility, and chronic limb ischemia.
2) Current Research in India:

Aim: 
To study the dynamic of cells’ functional activity CD-markers expression on liver and brain stem (progenitor) cells in process of human fetus development (from 6 to 20 weeks gestation) for creating stem cells therapy phenotypic maps.
Objectives:


1. To investigate expression of α-fetoprotein, CD326, Albumin, C017-1A antigen, CD68 and CD74 on fetal liver cells in the process of human fetus development (from 6 to 20 weeks of gestation).
2. To study the expression of immune panel markers (CD4, CD8, CD19, CD45, CD83, CD163, CD12w, CD158, CD56), blood-forming panel markers (CD133, CD135, CD34, CD117), platelets panel markers (CD31, CD42) and angiogenic panel markers (CD62E, CD100, CD105, CD141, CD144, CD202a) on hematopoietic liver fetal cells in the process of human fetus development (from 6 to 20 weeks of gestation).
3. To investigate the expression of Nestin, Vimentin, β-tubulin III, GFAP, GalC, CD271 and CD304 on the fetal stem (progenitor) cells of brain and spinal cord in process of human fetus development (from 6 to 20 weeks of gestation).
4. To create phenotypic map of fetal liver progenitor cells, fetal brain and spinal cord progenitor cells in dynamics of fetal development (from 6 to 20 weeks of gestation).

Practical Application for Current Research:
To establish terms of gestation, optimally corresponding to phenotypic algorithms of cell selection for treatment of blood diseases, liver diseases, demyelinating diseases, degradation of motor neurons, Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s diseases.

3) Future Research in India:
To conduct clinical trials by using Human Progenitor cells in India on diseases like liver cirrhosis, Lower limb ischemia and Chronic wound & Ulcers
